When Ford Motor Co. issues its 2003 results on January 22, Premier Automotive Group should show a modest profit.
PAG reported an operating profit of $56 million ([euro]44 million) in the first three quarters of 2003. That's much better than 2002, when Ford's luxury division posted an $897 million loss, largely because Jaguar had delays launching the XJ. PAG includes Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo.
