VW Golf top seller in 1998

The Volkswagen Golf takes the No. 1 spot in Europe in 1998 with sales 671,650 units. The Golf beats the Renault Megane by more than 95,000 units and tops 1997's top seller, the Fiat Punto, which places third, by more than 112,000 units.
