Visteon is the first supplier to introduce a halogen bending light/advanced front lighting system (AFS) on a production car.
The US-based supplier did so in early 2004. The company is also investing heavily in LED technology.
Rainer Neumann, lighting product development director for Visteon in Europe, spoke to Automotive News Europe about developments in automotive lighting from Visteon's new corporate office and innovation center.
What is the point of having halogen AFS light instead of going with xenon?
