Renault, Nissan add loans in Mexico

Renault and Nissan have set up two joint financing arms in Mexico.

Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn called the move an "important synergy" for the two automakers.

NR Finance Mexico will cater to Renault and Nissan customers and NR Wholesale Mexico will offer loans to dealers.

Nissan will be the majority shareholder with a 51 percent stake in both companies.

Workers at the Land Rover factory in Solihull, UK, held a one-day strike on Friday, January 26.
