Porsche led a strong fourth quarter in shareholder value for listed automakers. Only Fiat lost value in the period in the Automotive News Europe-PricewaterhouseCoopers Shareholder Value Index of auto manufacturers.
Porsche's stock price recorded the largest gain among automakers in the fourth quarter last year, thanks to the success of its Cayenne sport-utility.
Revenue for the German automaker jumped 47 percent for the four months ending November 30 to [euro]1.92 billion from a year earlier.
