Mitsubishi loses Europe boss

Stefan Jacoby will quit as head of Mitsubishi Motors Europe.

"He has got an offer nobody could refuse," a Mitsubishi spokesman said.

Sources say Jacoby has accepted a top job with a leading European automaker.

Jacoby worked for Volkswagen before joining Mitsubishi two years ago. He has improved Mitsubishi's European operations to the point that next year the division is expected to make its first profit in Europe.
