To the editor:
With sadness I read (ANE, February 9) that BMW has decided to mire Chris Bangle in committees about design, instead of in design. I, for one, hope he will move on. At 47, he is in his prime. Think about him in Europe and, say, Tom Gale in the US as a design dream team. Venture capitalists, get the checkbooks out. Then add Martin Leach to supply manufacturing know-how. Unstoppable!
