Mercedes-Benz will introduce its next-generation A class at the Lisbon auto show.

Pedro Braz, president of Mercedes-Benz Portugal, told Automotive News Europe the five-door version of the Mercedes entry-level model will be part of the show, which takes place April 30-May 9.

Braz said sales of the new five-door A class will start in May in all European countries. A three-door version is expected by the end of this year.
