Toyota and PSA/Peugeot-Citroen have nearly selected all suppliers for the joint-venture car assembly plant here.
The plant will manufacture 300,000 small cars a year for the European market. It will open in about a year.
Most parts will be produced in the Czech Republic or neighboring Poland. The suppliers selected are a mixture of European and Japanese-based partsmakers.
Many of the Japanese suppliers are local subsidiaries of Japanese companies or are linked to Toyota by equity.
