Honda will export 50,000 vehicles a year from China to Europe starting next year.

Other automakers with auto plants in China such as Toyota and Volkswagen say they have no plans to do the same.

Honda, Japan's No. 2 automaker, will export its Jazz small-segment models built at its joint-venture plant in Guangzhou, China.

Most will go to Europe and the rest to countries in Southeast Asia, said Honda Motor Europe President Minoru Harada.
