Boysen expands for BMW 3 series

Boysen will invest [euro]3 million to expand its exhaust systems assembly operation in Salching, Germany.

Boysen will supply exhausts for the 3 series models that BMW will begin assembling at its new Leipzig, Germany, plant this year.

Boysen's Salching plant already supplies BMW's Regensburg operation with exhausts.

Boysen will operate with nine hours of stock at the Leipzig plant to offset delivery risks arising from having its assembly plant 400km away from the final assembly line.
