Emanuele Bosio, like most of his fellow supplier CEOs, thinks a lot about rising raw materials costs and automakers' demands for ever-lower prices. But Bosio, who heads Italy's Sogefi, has more trouble than many of his colleagues resisting price pressures, because his company is actually increasing earnings. Sogefi boosted its 2003 operating profit 1.3 percent to [euro]78.6 million.
