Ferrari's new 612 Scaglietti represents a technological leap forward for the Italian automaker.
The 612 is Ferrari's first effort at mating an aluminum spaceframe to an aluminum body powered by a V-12 engine.
But there are other changes, too.
"Its shape, its image, its style is totally new," says Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari general manager.
"It has a different character than the 456 it replaces. There is comfort and roominess inside. There are two real seats in the back. And on the road it is very comfortable."
