International parts suppliers are hoping that the new mid-term business plan that troubleshooter Andreas Renschler is preparing for Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will bring new opportunities for them to sell to Mitsubishi.
That was supposed to happen under Mitsubishi President Rolf Eckrodt's turnaround plan for the carmaker, but didn't. Instead, foreign suppliers say, Mitsubishi continued to give preferential treatment to suppliers from within the Mitsubishi Group.
