Renault keeps expanding sales targets as well as the geographical spread for its X-90 car for developing countries.

By 2010, the French automaker aims to sell annually about 700,000 X-90s, including the L-90 sedan, says Renault Chairman Louis Schweitzer.

That's 200,000 more than planned when the project was launched in the late 1990s.

The list of countries in which the X-90 will be built is expanding too.
