Jean-Francois Cournault doesn't believe in wasting time. PSA/Peugeot-Citroen's construction boss has a [euro]700 million plant to build and it must be finished before assembly starts in early 2006. In Slovakia these days, there is a lot to build.
To save time - and cope with the tricky windblown soil - Cournault keeps a bright red Citroen Berlingo 4X4 next to his construction trailer. "Quick," he tells visitors "get in."
