Mitsubishi will reduce advertising on marginal models and cut salaries as part of a cost-cutting drive.
The cuts aim to offset collapsing sales in Japan due to a recall scandal at Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and its former truck-making arm, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Co.
