Hyundai Motor Co. Chairman Chung Mong-Koo is considering a plan that will be the blueprint for the marketing and product direction for his Hyundai and Kia brands.
Chung has been presented with a proposal that spells out the identity of products that will be developed off common platforms, company sources say.
Kia vehicles would be smaller, sportier and lower-priced, while Hyundai products would be bigger, more luxurious and better equipped.
