Saab will double its product lineup in the US, drawing on General Motors' global family.
The Swedish automaker added the Subaru-based 9-2X sport hatchback on June 1. Saab expects the 9-2X hatchback to attract a new group of single, young, urban buyers.
The 9-2X's US debut will be followed next February by the 9-7X SUV, which is based on the Chevrolet TrailBlazer architecture.
