A small Austrian supplier is benefiting from a growing demand in China for specialty parts for premium cars.

Chinese consumers who buy locally-made sedans such as the Audi A4 and A6 and BMW 3 series and 5 series often want to add a personal touch to their new car, such as an attention-grabbing muffler with a more powerful sound.

Aftermarket suppliers expect increased demand for such accessories when Mercedes-Benz starts producing C- and E-class sedans in China late next year.
