BMW makes plant changes
Helmut Leube is the new chief executive of BMW's engine and car assembly plant in Munich.
Leube, 50, replaces Joachim Schulze, 60, who retired after 31 years with the BMW group.
Leube has been with BMW for 17 years. He was formerly president of BMW's US assembly plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Leube's successor in Spartanburg is Clemens Schmitz-Justen, 46, who was head of the group's painted body division in the research and innovation center in Munich. Schmitz-Justen has been with BMW since 1991.
