Aston Martin has started production at its new engine factory in Cologne, Germany.
The engine plant will produce about 5,000 V-8 and V-12 engines a year for Aston Martin vehicles including units for the new V-12 Vanquish S, DB9 and the V-8 Vantage due next year. Aston Martin's Cologne plant will employ 100 people.
