Bugatti will not race its Veyron supercar, says CEO Thomas Bscher.
"The Veyron is designed to be a practical car - not a race car. But we think we could beat the lap times of current Le Mans GT cars on the track," Bscher says.
Volkswagen-owned Bugatti expects that the car, which will a have top speed of more than 400kph, will begin reaching customers in the next 12 months.
