The Peugeot 1007 is built on PSA/Peugeot-Citroen's PF1 platform, which is the same architecture the French carmaker uses for the Citroen C2 minicar and will use for the Peugeot 207, which is due next year. Full-year production of the 1007 is forecast at more than 130,000 units. The total volume for the PF1 platform is expected to exceed 1 million units a year when peak production is reached in 2006.
