Do teachers know best?
A US teacher pension fund is betting that CEO Sergio Marchionne can turn around the ailing Fiat group.
The group has become the largest Fiat shareholder outside the Agnelli family by increasing its stake to 3.64 percent of all shares outstanding, up from 2.66 percent previously.
Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America - College Retirement Equities Fund - or Tiaa-Cleef Investment - is a $300 billion (currently [euro]240 billion) pension fund with 3.2 million subscribers, mostly retired US school teachers.
