Porsche redesigned about 90 percent of the exterior body panels for its new-generation 911 sports car. Alcan, of Canada, supplies the sheet metal for the new hood. Valeo, of France, provides the car's front and rear lights; its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and an ultrasonic park assist system. The lighting contract is another big win for Valeo, which won contracts to supply lights for two other new models - the Citroen C4 and BMW 1.
