VM Motori wins 2 new contracts
TURIN - VM Motori has won contracts to supply diesel engines to two small European vehicle manufacturers.
The contracts are to build engines for a western European automaker and a central European light commercial vehicle manufacturer. Specific details have not been released.
VW Motori builds 70,000 turbo-diesel engines a year at its plant in Cento, Italy. Of these, 50,000 are used by Chrysler in Europe and 5,000 by Jeep in the USA.
