New Rolls-Royce Motor CEO Ian Robertson will take over the carmaker as it tries to re-establish itself as a leading luxury brand.
Rolls-Royce is unlikely to reach its 2004 target of 1,000 worldwide sales of its Phantom super-luxury sedan.
The Phantom is the first Rolls-Royce introduced under BMW ownership. Rolls-Royce has sold 556 Phantoms worldwide through October.
On February 1, Robertson, 46, will take over the job from Stefan Krause, the BMW board member who temporarily took the post in October.
