ACEA opens office in China
ACEA, the European car manufacturers association, has opened an office in China.
Dominik Declercq, 46, a Belgian national who has lived and worked in China for almost 20 years, will head the Beijing office.
Bernd Pischetsrieder, who is ACEA president and chairman of Volkswagen group, said the new office reflects the growing impact of China's auto market on European automakers' strategies.
