Volkswagen will build its next-generation Bora exclusively in Mexico.
The current Bora is built at VW's plants in Wolfsburg, Germany, and Puebla, Mexico.
VW expects to build 200,000 of the cars annually at the Puebla plant. Of those, 30 percent will be exported to Europe.
Thomas Karig, Volkswagen de Mexico spokesman, said the Bora is being built in Mexico because the US is the biggest market for the model.
