Volvo's YCC (Your Concept Car) began as a conversation between two women in a doorway at a company seminar here. The seminar topic was: How Volvo should cater to women customers.

Little did Volvo employees Camilla Palmertz and Catarina Munck af Rosenschold realize when they began talking about a car designed by an all-female team on October 21, 2001, that their conversation would change the culture of Volvo Car Corp.
