Asian automakers are taking advantage of Russia's booming auto market.
Last year, Japanese and Korean brands saw their share of the 1.5 million unit Russian market surge to 16 percent from 9 percent, according to Global Insight.
To build on those gains, they are setting up wholly owned import companies and mulling new assembly plants in Russia.
