Mercedes E class
The Mercedes E class outsold its closest competitor, the BMW 5 series, 166,617 units to 142,548 last year in western Europe despite a 13.2% sales decline compared with 2003. Fleet agencies in Spain get a 7% discount. Dealers in Italy are offering a 3.5% lease over 3 years with a 10%-45% deposit and 25%-52% final payment. Dealers in Germany will give financing from 4.9% while car buyers in the UK and France can a
discount worth up to 13%. Diesel versions are the top sellers and takes 9-16 weeks to get.
