Ford Europe's assembly plants are primarily in high-cost western Europe, a situation Ford Motor Co. Chief Operating Officer Jim Padilla says the company plans to address. Can Ford ever return to the level of profitability it saw in the mid-to-late 1990s?
I don't know if it'll beat 1999 or 2000. The world has changed in different ways.
