The Audi A8 was western Europe's top-selling upper-premium car in western Europe after 4 months, edging the BMW 7 series 3,144 to 3,115 units during the period. It takes 8-12 weeks to get the A8. The top-selling versions in Spain and Germany come with the 4.2-liter gasoline engine; customers in the UK, France and Italy prefer the 3.0-liter TDI.
