Mitsubishi will refresh and expand its European lineup over the next three years, but it does not expect the changes to translate into a big sales boost.
Mitsubishi Motors Europe sold 240,000 units last year in greater Europe, which includes Russia. The carmaker expects to sell 255,000 units in the region this year.
Mitsubishi Europe CEO Tim Tozer said that the company's "natural weight" will remain at that volume for the near future.
There are two reasons Mitsubishi Europe hasn't set a higher short-term sales target:
