Nissan will decide next year whether to build cars in Russia, said Carlos Tavares, Nissan's executive vice president and head of planning and design.
A year ago, Tavares's predecessor Patrick Pelata said Nissan was considering three options for building cars in Russia:
1. Building a factory next to Renault's plant near Moscow;
2. Forging a partnership with a local manufacturer;
3. Creating a greenfield plant.
