Serbian automaker Zastava Automobili will build the Fiat Punto under license starting in the first quarter of 2007.
Zastava will prepare its plant in Kragujevac, 100km south of Belgrade, to build Puntos from complete knockdown kits shipped from Fiat's factory in Mirafiori, Italy, which is near Turin.
