The Chrysler group expects Spain and France to be its fastest growing markets in Europe this year.
Chrysler says its sales in Spain, Europe's fifth-largest market, will grow 24 percent to 11,000 units helped by incentives and by the US automaker taking direct control of its sales outlets there last October. In France, Europe's No. 4 market, sales will increase 14 percent to 10,000 cars, Chrysler says.
But the DaimlerChrysler unit expects sales to fall in Germany and the UK and increase only slightly in Italy, its biggest European market.
