Spain's Grupo Berge will import and distribute Fiat-brand cars in Mexico starting January 1.

Berge is forming a new company called SKBC with two partners to sell the Fiat brand in Mexico. One is SK Group Sigdo Koppers, Berge's joint-venture car-distribution partner in Chile, Argentina and Peru. The other is Clarion, Mexico's largest dealer group. Berge and SK will own a combined 60 percent of SKBC. Clarion will own the rest.
