Concept car: Genus

The Genus crossover concept shows Hyundai's thinking for a successor in the upper-medium segment, a spot currently held by the slow-selling Elantra.

Hyundai says the Genus combines coupe looks with the versatility of a station wagon.

A crossover vehicle is part of Hyundai's plans to increase its model lineup in Europe.

Expect a production version within three years.

Production cars: Accent, Sante Fe

To grow in Europe, Hyundai needs to do better in the lower-medium segment.
