Concept car: Cee'd
The Cee'd concept will reveal the look of the new lower-medium car that Kia plans to build at its new [euro]1.1 billion plant in Zilina, Slovakia, starting in December.
The concept is a teaser that is a "starting point for a new design DNA for Kia," the carmaker says. It has styling cues from the Sorento medium SUV and Picanto minicar.
The name Cee'd (pronounced seed) represents the car's "seed" for future growth in Europe, a Kia press statement said.
