The Steppe concept unveiled by Dacia is very close to the station wagon that Renault's Romanian subsidiary will launch in October.
"Eighty percent of what you see will be on the final product," Silviu Sepciu, Dacia spokesman said.
Missing from the production version will be the concept's muscular gray cladding and rooftop plastic storage area for skis and snowboards.
The concept for a five- or seven-seat vehicle is based on the platform of the Logan sedan but it is stretched by 200mm.
