Formula One is the world's costliest sport, according to UK magazine F1 Racing.

The total bill last year for engines, research, development, salaries, track fees, travel, hotels and entertaining incurred by 10 teams competing in 18 Grand Prix races around the world was [euro]2.2 billion, claimed the magazine.
