Kia will use its Cee'd concept car as its volume driver in Europe, said Kia Europe Senior Vice President Jean-Charles Lievens.
Kia wants to boost its sales to 500,000 units in 29 European countries within three years - an increase of 60 percent, Lievens said.
The production car from the Cee'd concept will fuel Kia's growth while shedding the brand's budget image. The Cee'd previews a five-door, lower-medium hatchback that will be built in Kia's new plant in Zilina, Slovakia, beginning in December.
