Hummer could expand its lineup with a SUV about the same size as the Jeep Wrangler.
The new vehicle, which is likely to be called the H4, would increase General Motors' rugged, off-road brand to four vehicles. It would also help Hummer reach its goal of becoming a more global brand capable of 5,000 European sales annually within two years.
The H4 has not received final approval from GM's board of directors. But, at a press event held here, GM Vice Chairman Robert Lutz told Automotive News Europe: "There's clearly room for at least one more vehicle ...
