After what seems like months of drama, Volkswagen's supervisory board appears to be delaying a vote on the future of Bernd Pischetsrieder as VW's chairman.
It is likely the board won't decide Pischets-rieder's fate until at least May 2, a day before the VW shareholder meeting. Earlier, a vote was expected at a two-day VW supervisory board meeting scheduled for April 19.
Prolonging the decision is just another example of boardroom politicking that can only mean more bad news for Europe's largest automaker.
