US unit of Oris files Chapter 11
US supplier Oris Automotive Parts Alabama has filed for bankruptcy reorganization.
The company is a subsidiary of the Oris Group, which is headquartered in Moglingen, Germany, near Stuttgart.
Oris' primary customers include Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volkswagen. It's a supplier of just-in-time parts to Mercedes' US plant in Vance, Alabama.
