Seven years after becoming alliance partners, Renault and Nissan have produced their second joint engine.
The carmakers say their partnership to jointly develop engines is on track.
"Engines are long-term projects that need time to come through," a Renault spokesperson said.
Last month Renault invited the press here to show the alliance's second joint engine, a 2.0-liter diesel offering 150hp and 175hp. The alliance's other joint engine is a 1.5-liter gasoline powerplant introduced in 2004.
