It's about time for engineers to take back responsibility for creating cars. Finance people can't do it.

Sales executives can't do it. And whatever happens, don't let lawyers anywhere near the cars.

I have a couple of cars on which the navigation, radio and ventilation systems are all hooked together.

You can't change the station on the radio unless you agree to some legal nonsense that supposedly protects the manufacturer from any and all liability for the next five decades. That just shows they haven't met a good trial lawyer.
